This October, our team participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K in Richardson, Texas, to celebrate courage, honor survivors, and raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
The event held special meaning for our team as we ran in honor of Carol M., Sr. HRBP/HRM. She has been an important part of Telvista for seven years and is a 15-year breast cancer survivor, devoted mother and grandmother, and an inspiration to us all. Her resilience and positive outlook remind us of what perseverance and hope look like in everyday life.
“This race is more than miles; it’s a celebration of survival, courage, and the people who lift us up when the road feels long,” said Carol. “Being a survivor has taught me the strength of community and the power of hope. We are a company that truly embodies friends and family! I’m deeply grateful to have had my Telvista colleagues participate with me.”

Running for a Cause That Matters
The Race for the Cure is more than just a 5K. It’s a fundraiser that supports life-saving breast cancer research, community health programs, and patient services. Each year, participants help raise money to fund early detection initiatives, provide care for those battling the disease, and support survivors as they rebuild their lives.
By joining this event, our Telvista team had the opportunity to give back and make a difference together. Every step we took helped drive awareness and raise funds for a cause that impacts countless families and communities.
Community Involvement Is Part of Who We Are
Being a Texas-based contact centre and BPO company means more than delivering great results for our clients. Our teams regularly take part in local events that reflect our shared values of empathy, service, and connection. The same compassion our agents bring to every customer conversation extends into how we support one another and our community.
Participating in events like Race for the Cure gives our employees a chance to step off the contact-centre floor and reminds us that success is not only about metrics or performance; it’s about people. Our investment in community translates into stronger teams, better retention, and ultimately stronger customer experiences for our clients.
Honouring Survivors and Advocating for Hope
Carol’s story is one of many that inspire us to keep showing up and giving back. Her courage represents the heart of Telvista’s culture, one rooted in respect, teamwork, and empathy.
Together, we run for hope. We run for life. We run for a cure.
